To kick off the new season, Expedition X is pulling out all the stops with a massive, two-part premiere centered on one of the most famous figures in English folklore: Robin Hood. Journeying across the Atlantic to Nottingham, England, Torres and Amaro are searching for the dark paranormal legacy left behind by centuries of medieval bloodshed. While Robin Hood is widely known as the heroic outlaw who stole from the rich to give to the poor, the actual history of the region is steeped in violence, mystery, and unanswered questions.
The premiere follows the team as they dig into a wave of chilling reports involving mysterious shadowy figures, ghostly apparitions, and unexplained phenomena scattered across Nottingham. Their investigation takes them through a gauntlet of notorious hotspots, including the city’s ancient underground cave systems, claustrophobic medieval dungeons, and the sprawling grounds of Newstead Abbey. Ultimately, their hunt leads them directly into the dark, eerie depths of Sherwood Forest itself. Later episodes will see the team venture into a cursed valley within the Navajo Nation, joining forces with a local expert to investigate an elusive, mythical Skinwalker. The crew will also travel to Guam to explore aggressive supernatural activity lingering on historic World War II battlefields. Adding to the excitement, paranormal investigator Jack Osbourne will reunite with the team for a special Revolutionary War mission in honor of America’s 250th birthday, tracking spirits across the war-torn Brandywine River battlegrounds.
